Account Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Rafeqi account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to submit a request, what gets deleted, and which data we are legally required to retain.

How to request account deletion

Send an email from the email address registered to your account to:

Please include the following so we can verify your identity:

• Full name registered on the account
• Phone number linked to the account
• Registered email address
• (Optional) Reason for deletion, to help us improve

We will respond within 7 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of identity verification.

Data that will be deleted

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• Profile photo and preferences
• Adoption and fostering listings you created
• Rescue reports and favorites
• Veterinary bookings and reviews
• Wallet balance (if any) — please withdraw before submitting
• Photos and content you uploaded
• Device push-notification tokens

Data that may be retained

We may retain some data for a limited period after deletion for the following reasons:

• Financial transaction records: retained for at least 10 years to comply with Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations.
• Records tied to legal disputes or governmental requests: retained for the legally required period.
• Aggregated, de-identified data: may be retained for statistical and service-improvement purposes.

Before you submit

• Withdraw any wallet balance — we cannot refund it after deletion.
• Complete or cancel any active adoption, fostering, or vet booking requests.
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
